How many planets in the solar system have rings around them?

There are four planets in the solar system that have rings around them, namely Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. These planets are classified as "jovian" planets, and they are massive balls of gas surrounded by rings and moons. The rings surrounding these gas giants consists of tiny fragments of ice and rock that orbit each planet as if they were miniature moons.
Among the solar system's jovian planets, Saturn has the largest rings and the only ones that are visible from Earth. Saturn's rings are as thick as 3,200 feet and stretch for about 175,000 miles. The rings on Saturn appear flat because all of the tiny fragments within them orbit naturally in the same plane.
