How many second-class cabins did the Titanic have?

The Titanic had 162 second-class rooms, containing 510 berths. These rooms could hold up to 550 passengers, though there were only 277 second-class passengers on the voyage. Of this amount, 118 survived.

Second-class cabins contained either two or four beds bunked, and passengers had to share communal bathrooms. These cabins and other second-class accommodations were scattered over seven of the ship's decks, with both an electric elevator and a grand stairway used for access between levels. The second class passengers had their own dining and smoking rooms separate from those of the first and third classes, as well as a library.
