Arsenal has won the Football Association, or FA Cup 11 times, as of October of 2014. The team won for the first time in 1930.

Since 1930, the team has won the FA Cup in 1936, 1950, 1971, 1979, 1993, 1998, 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2014. The team was organized in 1886 when workers from the Woolwich Arsenal Armament factory banded together to form the team. Arsenal first participated in the FA Cup in 1889-90. Arsenal entered the Football League's second division in the 1910s, but it did not move up to the first division until the end of World War I.
