How many VA hospitals are in Florida in 2014?

As of the end of 2014, there were 10 VA medical centers in the state of Florida. There were also eight outpatient clinics and 40 community-based outpatient clinics in the state.

There are full-service medical facilities in Bay Pines, Gainesville, Lake City, Miami and West Palm Beach. There are two in Tampa and three in Orlando. The VA also operates regular outpatient clinics in several cities, including Cape Coral, Daytona Beach, New Port Richey, Tallahassee, The Villages and Viera. Jacksonville has two clinics. These outpatient clinics offer varying assortments of services, from primary care to phlebotomy, electrocardiograms and psychiatric service.
