What material is used to make a KitchenAid mixer bowl?
By Forinfos - 21/09/2025 - 0 comments
Most KitchenAid mixing bowls are made of polished stainless steel and come standard with the company's stand mixers. However, glass and frosted glass bowls are also available. All bowls are sold separately and are available at KitchenAid.com.
Stainless steel is an alloy steel containing between 10 and 30 percent chromium. Typically, this figure is around 12 or 15 percent. The chromium ensures the alloy is resistant to rust, heat and chemical attacks. KitchenAid mixing bowls are available in a variety of sizes, from 3 to 8 quarts. Some models are also equipped with handles, and glass bowls are available with measurement markings and easy-pour spouts.
