What are the properties of a cuboid?

A cuboid has its own surface area and volume, and it is a three-dimensional solid plane figure containing six rectangular faces, eight vertices and twelve edges, which intersect at right angles. It is also referred to as a "rectangular prism."

A cuboid is box-like in structure. It is considered a prism because its cross-section along its length is identical. The volume of a cuboid is the product of the object's length, width and height, which can be expressed using the formula volume = length x width x height or in simpler notations, or v = lwh. Its surface area is given as a = 2wl + 2lh + 2hw, where "a" denotes the surface area.
