According to his official biography, Matthew David "MattyB" Morris lives in Duluth, Georgia. He has lived there with his parents and four siblings his entire life.

MattyB became an Internet sensation after his father and manager, Blake Morris, recorded and uploaded Matty's cover versions of several popular music hits to YouTube. After releasing cover songs exclusively for over two years, MattyB began releasing original songs, one of which rose to #11 on the Billboard Social 50 Chart. He has appeared on a number of television shows, as well as performed in front of live audiences all over the United States.
