The maximum recommended dosage for Extra Strength Tylenol (500 mg) is two caplets every six hours, and no more than six every 24 hours, and for Tylenol Arthritis Pain (650mg), it is two every eight hours and no more than six in 24 hours. In case of an overdose, individuals should call 911 or a poison control center.
