What methods of payment are typically accepted for online courses?

Online courses may usually be paid with loans, credit cards, debit cards or eChecks. If the online course is based at a local institution, it may be possible to pay with a cashier's check or cash in person at the registrar's office.

Normally, online courses don't accept personal checks, cashier checks, cash or money orders unless the student is able to pay in person at the local campus. Fully online courses tend to accept payments such as credit card payments or direct withdrawals from the student's bank. For those on payment plans, a payment plan that charges these payment sources each month may be available.
