When is the Michigan State Fair?

The Michigan State Fair is held annually at the end of every summer during the first weekend of September. The dates vary each year, but the 2015 fair is scheduled to be held from Sept. 4 through Sept. 7, 2015.

The Michigan State Fair lost public funding in 2009, and its operation was picked up by a private corporation, Michigan State Fair LLC. It is now held annually at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan, just outside of Detroit.

The fair hosts a variety of entertainment and fun each year including musical performances, food vendors, beer gardens, and livestock and agriculture exhibits from residents across the state.
