What are militia groups?

Militia groups in the United States are right wing anti-government extremist groups that believe the government does things to conspire against the American public. However, the real meaning of militia includes any men who are capable of bearing arms.

There are numerous militia groups within the United States, including the California militia, the Georgia militia and the southern regional Michigan militia. Nearly every state has their own militia group, which was founded by individuals who are set to defend property and rights against a tyrannical government. Most militia groups in the United States are against taxes and believe in the Patriot Movement.
