What are mobile home roof trusses?
By Forinfos - 17/12/2025 - 0 comments
Mobile home roof trusses are a type of rafter used in the roofs of manufactured homes. Three basic types of trusses are used in mobile homes, depending on the style of the home.
Trusses give the roof shape and support. Roofing materials are attached to the trusses. Mobile homes manufactured before 1976 generally have bowstring or flat trusses, while newer homes feature standard trusses. Homes with standard trusses have peaked roofs and are covered with traditional shingle material as opposed to the metal and asphalt of older homes. Double-wide trailer roofs often feature half trusses that are put together to form single-peak trusses.
