Winter lasts from July to the beginning of September, with monsoon weather absent between September and November. Cyclone season overlaps with the rainy season, lasting from January to the end of February.
During the rainy season, parts of Mauritius may experience accumulated rainfall of over 15 feet. During the summer season, from January to March, temperatures average between 75 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit. In winter, temperatures range from roughly 62 degrees to a little over 75 degrees Fahrenheit. The winter months are generally dry.
