When is the monsoon season in Cuba?
By Forinfos - 06/07/2025 - 0 comments
Cuba's wet season falls between May and October. Around 75 percent of the country's rain falls in these months, with the heaviest rainfall in October.
The wet or monsoon season in Cuba occurs at the same time as its hurricane season, the peak of which is in August and September. During this time, the country experiences heavy, fast falling rain on roughly half the days of each month. The rain is combined with high winds and potential flash floods.
With a mixture of heat, with temperatures reaching 32 degrees Celsius (around 90 degrees Fahrenheit), and heavy rain, high humidity is common.
