What month do ducks lay eggs?

The normal nesting season for ducks begins in March. The NSW Department of Primary Industries in Australia say that some ducks are able to lay eggs all year round.
Birdlife International imply that wild ducks are more likely to begin breeding in October and November and start preparing to lay their eggs in March. There are several different breeds of ducks who have different patterns for the length of time before eggs hatch; these ducks sometimes have different breeding patterns as well. Breeders are the most likely to produce eggs year round, and high yielding ducks may produce as many as one egg per day.
