For the second quarter of 2014, Morgan Stanley reported net revenues of $8.6 billion compared to $8.5 billion for the same period in the year prior. Income from continuing operations was $1.9 billion compared with $1.0 billion for the year prior.
The company reported strength in investment banking and equity sales and trading, and it reported lower performance in fixed income and commodities sales and trading due to lower market activity.
