There are no online reports that Karen Finney is married. Finney was the host of the MSNBC show "Disrupt," which ran from 2013 to 2014. She is now the senior adviser for Communications and Political Outreach and Senior Spokesperson for Hillary for America.

Finney is of mixed race heritage. Her father's last name originates from a man who once owned the family as slaves. She attended UCLA before working as a teaching assistant in a facility for pregnant teens in Los Angeles. Karen Finney also served in the 1990s as the First Lady's deputy press secretary during Bill Clinton's presidency.
