As of 2015, the cost to obtain a CDL B in New Hampshire is $60, according to the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles. The B level commercial license allows drivers to operate vehicles that weigh more than 26,000 pounds.
The B level commercial license is one of three standard commercial licenses offered by the New Hampshire DMV. The C level commercial license allows a driver to operate a vehicle weighing less than 26,000 pounds, a tank or hazardous material vehicle, or a bus that carries 16 or more people. The A level commercial license allows a driver to operate any combination of vehicles. As of 2015, the cost to obtain a commercial license is $60, regardless of the type.
