How much commission should an advertising salesperson charge?
By Forinfos - 21/09/2025 - 0 comments
The amount of commission an advertising sales representative can expect to collect ranges from 8 to 50 percent. The exact amount depends on a number of factors, the most important being whether the representative also collects a base salary.
In general, if the sales representative collects enough to live on through the combination of base pay and any stipends meant to cover expenses incurred through work, he can expect to receive a 15 percent commission or less. Representatives who receive no base pay and subsist only on commission generally receive a commission of 25 to 50 percent of the total sales they make.
