How much do hunting guides get paid?

As of 2015, hunting guides in the United States usually make between $75 and $150 per day during the hunting season, according to StateUniversity.com. Free or subsidized room and board is included in many hunting guide contracts, so money earned during the season does not have to cover those expenses.

Guides are often able to set their own fee schedules, and guides with more experience are generally able to ask for more pay than those just starting out. Most guides work on a contract basis and are only employed during hunting season. During the off season, they may not be able to count on pay from the parks or lodges employing them.
