The approximate value of an uncirculated Sacagawea gold coin ranges from $1.00 to $4.50, as of 2015. The only exceptions are the rare uncirculated Sacagawea gold coins known as the Wounded Eagle coin, which has a value of $280, and the Cheerios coin, which is valued at $1,900.

All of the circulated Sacagawea coins are face value, except the Wounded Eagle, which is valued at $75 and the Cheerios coin, which is valued at $750. The Sacagawea coin was minted from 2000 to 2008 and has either an S or a D mint mark. To know the true value of a coin, the owner should have it appraised by a reputable coin dealer.
