To pack for a seven-day cruise, include a toiletry bag with trial sizes, summer or beach items, and a combination of different clothing items. Assume laundry will not get done while on the cruise, but allow mixing and matching of hot and cold attire.

Many cruises offer events or restaurants that have a formal dress code, so bring at least one formal dress or suit to wear to these restaurants. Also bring clothing for different weather conditions, including shorts and bathing suits for hot days and sweaters and jackets for cold days. For a seven-day cruise, bring at least seven pairs of underwear and at least five pairs of pants or shorts.
