How much does a single tooth implant typically cost?
By Forinfos - 16/12/2025 - 0 comments
A single tooth implant costs between $2,400 and $3,000 as of 2015, reports CostHelper Health. However, if the tooth also requires extractions, or bone or tissue grafts, the price can be anywhere from $4,000 to $10,000.
A dental implant provides a synthetic root for a replacement tooth through the embedding of a small titanium post into the jawbone. A metal abutment is linked to the implant, and a crown, denture or bridge is fastened to the abutment. The abutment and crown can add between $500 and $3,000 more to the cost of the implant, as of 2015, says CostHelper Health. A patient may also be charged for a temporary tooth that is used until the jaw heals from the insertion of the implant.
