The National Museum of the United States Air Force is located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, near Dayton, Ohio. The museum can be found at 1100 Spaatz Street and consists of three buildings, with a fourth under construction, as of September 2015.
The museum is the oldest and most extensive aviary museum in the world. The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force collects, researches, conserves, interprets and presents the Air Force's history, heritage and traditions. The museum uses exhibits of historical planes and educational programs that teach about the history and uses of the air force in order to education and preserve the culture and history associated with the Air Force.
