Where is the Tinker Air Force Base located?

Tinker Air Force Base is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, south of the suburb of Midwest City. The base is about three hours southwest of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and three hours north of Dallas, Texas.

Tinker Air Force Base is the home of the Air Force Materiel Command's Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, which oversees worldwide deployment and maintenance of many U.S. aircraft, engines, missiles, software and avionics. It is also home to the 72d Air Base Wing, as well as two Air Force Reserve wings. The Navy's Strategic Communications Wing One, which provides services to the Navy's E-6B Mercury aircraft fleet, is also located at Tinker Air Force Base.
