Where does the NHRA Drag Racing in Pomona take place?

As of 2015, the NHRA Drag Racing event in Pomona takes place at the Auto Club Raceway, which is the oldest venue of the circuit. Pomona's Auto Club Raceway is generally the location for both the opening and closing events of the NHRA Drag Racing circuit.

The NHRA began racing at the Auto Club Raceway in 1961, when the venue became host to the Kragen O'Reilly NHRA Winternationals. The Auto Club Raceway features 1,320 feet of racing surface that was repaved in 2001. The venue also includes other amenities, including luxury VIP box suites, corporate suites, a press center and permanent grandstand seats.
