How many drag races does the NHRA schedule each month?

The NHRA Mello Yellow Drag Racing Schedule typically features between two and four events each month, as of 2015. The season runs from February through November and has held 24 events in recent years.

The 2015 season opened with the Circle K Internationals at the Auto Club Raceway at Pomona in California, followed by the CarQuest Auto Parts Nationals later the same month at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Phoenix.
