Located in Queens, New York, the Aqueduct Racetrack typically hosts nine races a day with between five and 15 horses in each race. Aqueduct features horse racing from the fall to spring, with races running Wednesday through Sunday. The park can stable a maximum of 547 horses.
The Aqueduct Racetrack features three separate tracks for racing. The outer dirt track is 1 1/8 mile long. The inner track is a 1-mile special winterized course for cold weather racing. The furthermost inner track is a grass turf lap 7/8 eighths of a mile long. In addition to racing, the Aqueduct also houses a 415,00-square-foot casino featuring a wide array of gaming options.
