Located in Queens, Aqueduct Raceway is the only horse racing track in New York City. The fall and winter meets each feature between 25 and 30 races. The shorter spring meet has between 15 and 20 races, some of which are considered preparation for the Kentucky Derby. After the spring season, racing in the area moves to Belmont Park for the summer season.
