What types of races are run at the NYRA Aqueduct?

Aqueduct Racetrack hosts thoroughbred racing at its complex in the Queens borough of New York City. Aqueduct is operated through the New York Racing Association.
Aqueduct has one grass and two dirt tracks. The 1 1/8-mile outer dirt track is used during the spring meet in April and fall meet in November and December. The 1-mile inner dirt track, constructed in 1975, is used during the winter meet from January to March.
Simulcasting is conducted daily in the Aqueduct clubhouse beginning at 11:30 a.m., as of 2015.
