Where is a Northwestern coniferous forest?
By Forinfos - 17/04/2025 - 0 comments
The Northwestern Coniferous Forest extends throughout the Pacific Northwest, ranging from northern part of California to the southern part of Alaska. It also includes the states of Oregon and Washington as well as the western provinces of Canada.
The Northwestern Coniferous Forest harbors a variety of tree species, including pine and giant redwood trees. The redwoods found in this area are among the tallest in the world, exceeding 350 feet, and are logged throughout the region. The forest is one of the most productive ecosystems on the North American continent, largely because of moderate temperatures and heavy rainfall that can top 70 inches per year.
