Where is the Northwestern docked?

As of 2014, when not in service, the Northwestern and other fishing boats are often docked at the Salmon Bay Terminal at the south end of the Ballard Bridge in Alaska. The Northwestern has also docked at the port of Seattle, Wash.

Owned and operated by the Hansen family, the Northwestern is an Alaskan crab, Pacific cod and salmon tendering fishing vessel. Built in 1977 at the Marco Shipyard in Seattle, Wash., the Northwestern was originally 108 feet in length overall, though it was extended to 125 feet in 1991 in order to accommodate the maximum pot limit of 250 pots per vessel.
