What is an Obama dollar bill?

A number of different sources have satirized Barack Obama by putting his face on the image of a dollar bill. One high profile example was a web video created by John McCain's staff during the 2008 presidential campaign.

The humor stems from a comment made by Obama during his first presidential campaign about looking different than other presidents on previous dollar bills. A Weekly World News article, in 2012, played on this satire; it claimed that the White House has approved redesigned dollar bills and pennies to feature Obama's face. Many amateur comedians have created similar images and posted them on the Internet.
