It can be OK for an experienced runner to run every day. However, Susan Paul of Runners World recommends that a person work his way up to daily running by beginning with running up to three times per week for a few months.
Running every day by beginners can lead to injuries by demanding too much of the body too soon. Daily running can tear or strain tissue and muscle, and bones could end up broken. Someone looking to become a daily runner can incorporate another type of exercise on the off days, such as swimming, spinning or aerobics. This can help build both strength and stamina.
