As of 2014, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is 31 years old. Cutler was born April 29, 1983, to Jack and Sandy Cutler. Following a stellar college career at Vanderbilt, he was drafted by the Denver Broncos, the 11th overall player selected in the 2006 NFL Draft.

Cutler spent his first three seasons with the Denver Broncos, and led the AFC in passing yardage in 2008. After expressing his displeasure over the firing of head coach Mike Shanahan, Cutler demanded a trade, and was sent to the Chicago Bears on April 2, 2009. Following the 2013 season, Cutler signed a seven-year extension with the club worth $124 million, making him one of the NFL's highest-paid players.
