James Brian Hellwig, also known by his WWE stage name The Ultimate Warrior, died of cardiovascular disease on April 8, 2014. He was 54 years old.

His death came just three days after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The Ultimate Warrior collapsed while walking with his wife, Dana, on their way back to their car at a Scottsdale hotel. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The Ultimate Warrior was a popular wrestling superstar in the late 1980s. Perhaps his finest moment came at Wrestlemania VI, when he defeated Hulk Hogan in the championship match in an epic encounter.
