Why is one foot larger than the other?
By Forinfos - 05/02/2025 - 0 comments
The human body is asymmetrical. As a result, the left and right foot are not exactly the same size. While these differences are mostly unnoticeable, others may be more obvious.
Since the body is not internally balanced ‒ the heart rests on the left side and the liver on the right ‒ the development of the human skeleton is also unbalanced. While this unequal distribution affects everything the body does, from simple movements to walking, it is very normal for the human body.
A noticeably enlarged foot, however, could indicate a health-related issue. Those experiencing pain or discomfort in such instances are encouraged to consult a physician.
