What organ in the human body produces bile?

Bile and pancreatic juices are produced by the liver and pancreas, which are organs that are part of the digestive system. Biliary juices, or bile, are created in tissue inside the liver called hepatic parenchyma, and then make their way into the biliary ductal system. Small ducts form together and merge into a single river like stream that exits into the duodenum.
Bile is stored in the gallbladder and absorbed into the body where it used to help break down and digest foods. The gallbladder is also responsible for removing water from bile in order to make it more concentrated. Even though it is thin, the gallbladder wall contains muscle tissue that enables it to contract and empty when needed.
