The ongoing competition between the University of Oklahoma (OU) and Oklahoma State University (OSU) is called the Bedlam Series. This rivalry dates back nearly a century, beginning around 1917.
The Bedlam Series refers to the rivalry in athletics between OU and OSU. The strongest rivalry exists between the Oklahoma Sooners and the Oklahoma State Cowboys football teams. However, the baseball and wrestling teams also compete in the series against one another. In fact, the Bedlam Series started with raucous crowds attending wrestling matches between OU and OSU. The two schools use a points system to determine which school is the winner for overall athletics each year.
