Who owns the Mountaineer Resort in West Virginia?

Eldorado Resorts Inc. owns the Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort in West Virginia. In September 2014, the previous owner of Mountaineer Resort, MTR Gaming Group Inc., merged with Eldorado, transferring ownership of the resort. Don Carano founded Eldorado Resorts in 1973, and by 2014, the company owned six resort properties.

The Mountaineer Resort in New Cumberland offers a variety of activities, including poker and table games, slot machines, golf and horse racing. Visitors can see live entertainment, relax at the spa or enjoy fine dining before returning to their hotel rooms. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Akron, Ohio, are within driving distance of the resort.
