What is the PACE prescription program?

PACE is a program that offers affordable prescriptions for Pennsylvania residents 65 and older, states the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. To receive PACE benefits, applicants must also be a resident of the state for 90 days and not also receive the Department of Public Welfare's Medicaid prescription program benefits.

As of June 2015, the income requirements to qualify for PACE are $14,500 or less for single residents and $17,700 for residents who are married, states the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. PACENET is an option for those who make more than the PACE program income limits, with a limit of $14,500 to $23,500 for single people and $17,700 to $31,500 for married couples.
