What are some Paleolithic cultures that still exist today?

The Sentinelese of North Sentinel Island, some of the Awá-Guajá people of Brazil, and some of the West Papuan lowlanders of Indonesia are examples of Paleolithic cultures. The latter two have members who have adapted to some extent, meaning that they are not necessarily stone tool-using hunter-gatherers.

There are other Paleolithic cultures that exist throughout the Amazon rainforest, as well as on the island of New Guinea, which are known for their inaccessible terrain. However, their isolation means that little is known about them, particularly because there are efforts to protect some of them by keeping them away from potentially dangerous contact with the outside world.
