How was Paul Walker's character handled in Furious 7?

Paul Walker's character in the movie "Furious 7," Brian O'Conner, retired to be with his family full-time, ending his storyline. The death of Paul Walker during the filming of the movie forced the production to use alternative methods of filming, such as unused footage from previous movies and stand-ins.

The stand-ins for Walker included his brothers, Cody and Caleb. During the post-production process, editors digitally grafted Walker's face onto his brothers' bodies. Additional methods of filming included shooting Walker's stand-ins from behind or obscuring his character's face.

Walker died on Nov. 30, 2013, during a single-vehicle accident while on a break from filming for the Thanksgiving holiday.
