How do you pay a citation in Maryland ?

The Maryland District Court accepts payment for traffic citations by phone, by mail, in person and online. Fined drivers who visit a local district court can pay by cash, check or money order. Others may send a check or money order to the District Court Processing Center in Annapolis.
Online payment requires a debt or credit card and deducts a non-refundable processing fee of $6.95, as of 2015. Drivers with citations that indicate a scheduled court appearance cannot pay their fine online. Drivers who miss their trial date should mail a payment and a written request to reschedule. The Motor Vehicle Administration will suspend a driver's license if he does not pay within 30 days of receiving a notice.
