What are the payment options for an E-ZPass ticket?

The easiest way to pay for an E-ZPass is to be a credit card customer, as credit card accounts are automatically topped up whenever the balance on the pass falls below the minimum value. Other options include paying by check or cash.

Payments by check can be mailed to the E-ZPass customer service center main address or made in person at one of the three physical customer service centers. Cash payments can only be made in person. In either case, a reminder message is sent to the customer once the balance on the pass falls below 50 percent of the replenishment amount to enable timely top-ups.
