By Forinfos - 05/02/2025 - 0 comments
The reasons why people study the Bible vary. However, most study it to seek God and grow spiritually. Those who follow Christianity or Judaism study the Bible because they believe it to be God's word.
Jewish and Christian people study the Bible to know God better and for personal spiritual enlightenment and growth. However, the Bible is also widely read by non-religious people. Since it is considered a highly influential scripture that has shaped Western culture and created two of the world's major religions, many read it to gain a better cultural literacy. Others study it to better understand the principles and history of Judaism and Christianity.
