How do people travel with a tiny towel?

People who travel with tiny towels are probably using towels specifically designed for traveling. These towels look extremely tiny when packed, but unfold to sizes that are closer to normal for use.
Travel towels are typically made of microfiber rather than terry cloth. They are lightweight and ultra-thin, often folding to the size of a greeting card. They dry within a couple of hours, often come with a mesh envelope for packing and do not smell bad because they are made from antibacterial material. While travel towels do not feel the same as terry cloth towels, they are exceptionally absorbent, soaking up to five times their weight in water.
