What is a perpetual motion holder?

A perpetual motion holder is a device that is, in its simplest form, made of two soft iron blocks. Each of the two iron blocks have a ridge that forms a small tunnel when the two blocks are brought into contact.
An insulated wire runs through the small tunnel and is then connected to a car battery for a short moment. As a result, the wire possesses what is referred to as indefinite energy. However, this phenomena should not be confused with magnetism because the blocks portray very little, if any, magnetism on separation. Moreover, the blocks dispense energy during separation. This is illustrated by using a bulb which lights for a short while.
