Where are Peterbilt trucks manufactured?

As of 2015, Peterbilt trucks are manufactured at its manufacturing plant in the city of Denton, Texas, which has been operational since August 1980. Peterbilt also operated manufacturing plants in Madison, Tennessee, and Newark, California, but both closed in 2009 and 1986, respectively.

The Peterbilt plant in Denton produces eight truck models that are sold to both the on-highway and vocational truck markets. The company sells the truck that it manufactures through over 300 dealer locations spread across North America. Peterbilt's corporate headquarters and engineering department also operate in the city of Denton since the closing of its Newark corporate facilities in 1993.
