What do woolly monkeys eat?

Woolly monkeys eat fruit, nuts, seeds, leaves, flowers, nectar, insects, small rodents and reptiles. These creatures are omnivores, so they eat a variety of plant-based and animal-based foods. When foraging, they will split into small groups to find food.

Woolly monkeys are found in parts of the Amazon jungle. They have round heads and dense fur that protects them from the sun, rain and insects. There are four species of woolly monkey, which are brown, gray, Colombian and silvery. Males are larger than females, and they live in groups ranging in size from 10 to 45 monkeys, often with generations of families living together.
